A brownout condition means no customer impacting activities (upgrades, VPN’s, new orders, etc.) of any kind will be permitted on the network unless it is of an emergency break/fix or restoration situation. KCST MassBroadband123 "Brownout Condition" signifies an event of National, International or local interest where it is desirable to restrict activities on the network in order to mitigate any disruption of services. ACTION: Defer all routine maintenance and testing of power plants. Maintain continuity of services relative to the event. No work on the Network will be permitted. This does not pertain to emergencies or the restoration of services.
